I really love my 3 inch SP101 in .357, and decided to do some modifications to it myself. I also love my little Bond .45 Colt/.410 for EDC when woods walking etc.. With help from some fine folks on a couple leather crafting forums, I created my own holsters too.

What's the grip on your SP, out of curiosity?

Thank you each for your kind comments. The grips are an old set of Uncle Mike's Boot grips I trimmed on the sander years ago. I like the rubber feel when I have sweaty hands. The holsters are hand stitched. I draw up my own patterns and have had to modify patterns several times on some. I enjoy the leather work, and each holster has only about $3 in material in it. I make my own wax mixture for top coating. It really can be an inexpensive hobby if you keep things simple, but it's hard to keep from wanting to embellish a creation. Thanks again. Don

Thank you folks. I trimmed the shroud on the muzzle for a little different profile, and actually reversed the front sight, which I will drill the face of soon to receive a dot of fluorescent paint. It's a rather large pocket rig, but at 6 feet 4 inches and 300 pounds I can readily conceal it in my front jeans pocket. Don

Very nice.
I like the look of the flipped front sight. Would you mind elaborating on your reasons for doing it? Does it snag more? Is it easier to pick up? etc.

I just wanted to be able to apply the dot of paint, making the front sight easier to acquire. Wasn't able to do so on a ramp front. Don
