I'm attaching a couple pictures of a kydex holster that weas relatively well known in the past, but isn't used much anymore, and is considered by many to be the fastest concealable holster available.
WHat is the name of the holster, when was it popular, and where was it manufactured?

the first person to guess correctly gets a pat on the back.

Sorry Andrew, as it happens, I was just this afternoon discussing Snicks with a retired police officer. He just bought a Kahr P9, and wanted to know if there was anything like a Snick available. I had to struggle not to, ahem, snicker, as I told him about how common kydex/plastic holsters have become!

none of the available ones are as good as an inside the pants snick, or as quick as a front draw snick, IMHO.

Were you a SWPL shooter?

nope, not a SWPL shooter, though I used to watch some fellows who played.

I have always been interested in the new, odd, or different, and in it's day, the Snick was all of the above. I myself used to enjoy a Rogers plastic holster for a 4" N frame .41 Magnum. This was long before Rogers hooked up with Safariland, mind you. In its day, that rig was mightily impressive to the unwashed. I used to shoot handloads at about 950 fps, and it definitely was more effective than your average .357 Magnum. Mind you, this was when the only autoloaders available were mostly S&W 39's or 59's, Hi-Powers, or 1911's. Revolvers were more than just a seldom used option then, of course, so my mighty .41 had a lot of mojo going for it. Heh-heh....
