That appears to be the "Boy's Anti-Tank Rifle".(British)
Length: 63.5 inches
Barrel: 36.0 inches
Weight: 36 lbs.
Caliber: .55
Rifling: 7 grooves r/hand twist
Operation: Bolt action
Feed: 5 round box
Muzzle velocity: 3,250 per second
Named after Captain Boys of the British Army who was involved with its conception. Due to advances in tank design it was rendered impractical and withdrawn from service by 1943.
The gun also had a nasty recoil which made firing it less than fun!

I'd like to MonkeyMan but as you know there is an import ban on good cigars as well as beautiful firearms. What a world!

You can say that again. I fired one of these a couple of years ago.
I don't know what the muzzle brake was doing, but I'm not sure it was taming recoil all that much.
