burris speed dot

at a store closing i got a new in the box camoed 35mm burris speed dot for 85.00, i want to mount it on a spare 3inch 12ga rem 11-87 camoed turkey shotgun. any one use one and will it hold up on the 11-87 mag? and do you like it. eastbank.
