Took pictures (not high res) of my Stephan Fowler knives yesterday. Note the bowies are slathered with a waxy XF7 coating for storage so you cannot see the polish well. The new 4" Rough Duty knife is here showing very practical sheath. I am gonna use the the Rough Duty one and if I ever stick a pig again it will be with the 11" S guard "bowie" . Prolly the beautiful 13" Confederate Bowie will slumber in the safe for future generations. All are Carbon steel and forged.:D

I really enjoy Mr. Fowler's work. A hamon line on a western-style knife is aesthetically interesting and beautiful. Someday I am hoping funds will permit buying one of his knives. Thanks for sharing.

I have three of fowlers pieces and made room for several more in my collection. I can't express the compliments I receive with the true artwork he creates.

Latest Fowler knife:
A 6.5" recurve that chops real well. The Buckeye burl is gorgeous IMHO and the black linen micarta dovetail transition is flaw less. Stephan hides my pins for me. He is doing a lot of brut da forge blades. The thing is so far this knife seems to be Bar B que oriented; it really chops up the tri tip.:)
