I enjoyed my Galco ankle glove holster with the sheepskin padding until all of the sweat that it absorbed caused it to stink badly. :barf:

Does anyone know the proper way to clean this? I searched for a thread and didn't find one but if it has already been covered then I would appreciate a link.

The leather holster looks like it is glued on, so no, I can't toss it in with the laundry.

Thanks in advance.

I use Woolite to get the dirty grease off my sheepskin Rig Rags. It takes part of a capful in a small container of water to clean one and then I shake it dry.

Some people recommend 6 to 1 water to Woolite, some say 10 to 1. I just eyeball it and free pour.

Get some oxy clean. Works wonders. I use it on all my wool backed holsters. Takes out the stink as well as the stain.

Try Fabreze after you wash & dry it it.

I use it in my Bates boots to keep the stinkys at bay.

A couple days in the hot sun will do wonders after you've completed your standard detergent cleaning.

All good... Also, baking soda/sun.
