Accurate? If I can do this well, imagine how much better others can do.

Good shooting, its a great pistol. I've shot a few thousand lead handloads thru mine it is my favorite 1911 I own.

Cool, glad to hear you are enjoying success with it. There's something about the Novak sights on it that makes it a lot easier for me to shoot it accurately with the stock trigger, as opposed to my SA Loaded with a custom trigger job on it.

Just curious.

Which grip are you using?

Are you shooting with your thumbs forward, up or locked down?

I am using thumbs forward, I'll check your links, and I use a modified Weaver stance.

I'll bet you're shooting more thumbs up than thumbs forward...based on your arm geometry

Looks like you're using push/pull tension...that is what is causing the vertical stringing at 7 yards

Iíd be interested to see what the SR1911 does at 25yds. The targets are from traditinal standing at 25yds slow and rapid fire.

Yup, that's one sweet, modestly priced, out of the box accurate 1911!

I think Ruger has done a fantastic job.
