I put in an order with mastercast bullets, and they haven't charged me but since placing the order I haven't heard back. Has anyone ordered from him recently or know what's up?

If you ordered from Mastercast in Carbondale, IL things should be OK. Can't speak about Mastercast in PA. I've ordered from Mike in Carbondale several times, and agree that communication may not be a strong point here. Don't hesitate to call and leave a message or send a follow-up email. It may take a few days, but you should hear from him and get some status.

Which Master Cast did you order from? How long ago did you order? Have you tried to contact them?

There are two Master Cast (they are not affiliated):
http://www.mastercast.net in Enon Valley, PA owner is Mike
http://www.mastercastbullets.com in Carbondale, IL owner is also named Mike

I placed an order with Mike (Carbondale, IL) about a month ago. He called me a few days later, gave me a total for the order, got my info, and said it would ship the next week. I haven't received my order yet either, nor have I been charged. I emailed him a few days ago. No reply yet.

I called Mike at Mastercast (in Illinois) earlier today to inquire about my order placed 4-4-2012.

He has previously told me it would be about 3 or 4 weeks to fill the order.

Today he told me it would be about another week. The state is widening his road and it has led to power outages of several hours per day, causing production delays.

Yeah, Mastercast in Illinois is slow. I ordered something over the phone last fall, he said it would ship next week, got it ~5 weeks later (IIRC) after no response to a few emails I sent inquiring about the status.

mike in carbondale is slow - but I had a pleasant conversation w/him when I did get ahold of him and the bullets are very good.
seem there had been flooding around him and power was out for some days and iffy for a week or so.
I had an order in for 9mmMak, .380acp and .32acp. the .32 slugs shot better than any factory jacketed slug I've ever shot

Last year when placed an order it came in a week. I sent off an additional order and had to call him 3 weeks later. When he went through his mail he found my original order payment, then the new order and even his carry license renewal form that was almost due. Mike isn't all that good on bookkeeping but he makes great bullets.

+1. I've been dealing with him off and on for years. He's got the best bullets for the price, anywhere. He's not so good at communicating sometimes, especially when there's a delay.

guys,

I ordered 1000 40 cal. from bulletworks.com in Breckinridge Texas, they shipped the next day. Artie and Jimmy Mitchel....if their bullets are as nice as they are, I will be very happy.

PS not (thebulletworks.net) who are very nice also.
