this is a new design from forged 1084 and is about 10" long. this one was inspired by the new Riddick movie on the horizon. my son and i are big sci-fi movie buffs. this one has our frosted Crime Scene finish and battered mild steel scales. we were trying to make them look like scavenged scraps that have been repurposed. it was a fun time.

New Riddick? Cool.

I like the blade shape in general. Not sold on the little cutout, but the overal blade shape I like a lot. Hm...(scurries off to email)...

Okay. Not TOO close to the blade design I sent Sam a few months ago! :D

(ETA) You know, depending on how it fit one's hand, the cutout is growing on me. Is it purely cosmetic, or did you mean for it to be a thumb ramp?

thanks, that oval cut-away is just for looks. unless you have very long thumbs. just something to break up the blade arc and arc of the handle. they are slightly different and that was a good way of doing it.
