I have a chance to buy this one but I know nothing about Linder Knives.
Any idea as to worth? BTW that isn't rust on the blade.

What is the overall length?

You can currently find 10-in OAL daggers for $100-$125 made by Linder, but that color micarta isn't on any I can find being sold now. Do you think it is an older knife?
If you have a chance to buy it can you tell us what the asking price is?

I'm doing this via email soon as I get an answer I'll post the info.
Thanks Tom

Well snooze you loose, knife sold for $128 had a 5" blade and was 9" overall. Was from the 80's.
A friend of mine died and another friend is selling off his knife collection, guess I should have been a little more positive in my commitment to buy.

It's not a bad knife but you didn't miss a "once in a lifetime."

Maybe, seen from one angle.

From another angle, one wonders how many more times his friend is going to die.

I would have been chasing the Randalls...

Should have been, but not big on knife collecting like to buy when the price is right (cheap) and I figured the Randall's were out of my price range and not knowing what a Linder was maybe I could get something nice for a reasonable price.
