I do a lot of action pistol competitions. I am much better with rifles but have fun anyway. Have several good guns (CZ 75, SIG 226) but wanted to give the Glock 34 a try after hearing some good things about it and how it can be customized. I have had a 19 and 17, sold them both as I was not crazy about the trigger pull, but that was a couple years ago when I was just getting into shooting. Ordered the 34 Gen 3 from glockstore.com couple days ago. This is what I had them put in:

Competition spring kit
Titanium safety plunger
Lone Wolf 3.5 lb connector
13 lb slide spring with SS rod (only shoot my own not-so-strong reloads)

Anything else that makes sense?

Got the gun today and just did some dry firing. While the trigger pull is very smooth and probably is around 3.5-4 lb. I find the is no clear point where you know its just a tad from firing, or is this just the way Glock triggers are, even when tuned? Kinda like pulling your finger through butter and then bang.

This is about the maximum you can do without getting doubling or worse:

You're not going to get as crisp a trigger on a Glock as a 1911 or similar.
