Bentonville May 7, 2012, 10:36 PM I like Natchezss.com. Their Blazer aluminum was around 9 dollars a box in the 9mm last time I bought some. Ammunitiontogo.com is another place I can get S&B at a reasonable price. It's best to shop around. Shadow 7D May 8, 2012, 12:32 AM canned heat gun-deals.com usually has a good list bluethunder1962 May 8, 2012, 12:35 AM thanks. I will look all of them. ( dollars a box. I will stock up on those. Havok7416 May 8, 2012, 04:06 AM Check luckygunner.com too. Wishoot May 8, 2012, 10:04 AM SGammo has some great deals. I like Georgia Arms too. mongo4567 May 9, 2012, 12:39 AM I like AIM Surplus about the best. You may find a slightly better price for a particular round, but they are hard to beat for shipping rates and overall prices on the ammo I want. mattmann May 9, 2012, 03:05 AM Ammoman.com Sent from my DROID RAZR Adenn1 May 9, 2012, 09:18 AM I buy mostly from SGAMMO...and have alway been very pleased with their prices and service. Recently, I stocked up on .38 specials (158 grain SWC) from Georgia Arms. Got 1000 rounds delivered for $232...or $11.60 per 50. Much better than the $19/50-box Walmart wants for Federal .38. smokey30725 May 9, 2012, 10:54 AM Look up Jack Ross ammo online. I just ordered 1000 rounds of 9mm 115gr fmj once fired brass reloads for 170 delivered. weregunner May 9, 2012, 03:45 PM These two links cover even the stores mentioned and most of the other online stores. http://www.ammoseek.com http://www.ammoengine.com Others are: www.sportsmansguide.com www.cabelas.com www.venturamunitions.com www.freedommunitions.com www.georgia-arms.com www.jackrossammo.com That ought to cover things. :) wnycollector May 9, 2012, 05:21 PM +1 on SGammo. They have great prices and VERY reasonable shipping costs. I grabbed 1K rounds of aguilla 124gr FMJ 9mm from them ~two months ago for $185. jrdolall May 9, 2012, 05:43 PM I just bought Tula 9mm from Cheaper Than Dirt for $9.29 a box. 5.45x39 for $4.19 per box. Shipping was $23 on the order which came to $.57 per box and it was delivered in two days. My local guys want $13 for 9mm and $8 for the 5.45 BEFORE taxes. dboy225 May 9, 2012, 05:57 PM cheaper than dirt lucky gunner centerfire systems ...and any others that were previously recommended. Your best bet is to pull up several side-by-side and go for the best deal. All of these sites offer deals from time to time so pay attention. Twitter, Facebook pages..you know the drill. bluethunder1962 May 10, 2012, 08:46 PM Thank everybody magnum89 May 11, 2012, 07:03 AM might be late but targetsportsusa 9mm $222 shipped /1000. hope this helps. good luck! Furncliff May 11, 2012, 01:02 PM I recently tried Freedom Munitions. This is reloaded cases. The 9mm started at $9.49 /50. The ammo functioned well in my pistols and a Camp 9 carbine. It was clean and accurate enough for range ammo. The shipping was resonable, and my order arrived in a timely fashion. I'll order from them again. http://www.freedommunitions.com/product-p/fm9r115r.htm tlatoani May 11, 2012, 03:34 PM I just tried some freedom ammo as well. It worked fine. Jack Ross pricing looks good. $80 for 500 bluethunder1962 May 11, 2012, 03:52 PM I never have been a big fan of 9mm. I bought a used police trade in and loved itl When I started buying ammo for it I found out why everybody has them. With the prices listed on here I am going to stock up on some. I just bought a new 9 and I go through ammo like candy. Thanks again for all the info. I will try them all. content May 11, 2012, 04:00 PM Hello friends and neighbors // Plus one for Lucky Gunner, fast shipping competitive prices. My last order of 1000, American Eagle, .38spec., 158gr, LRN was just over $300 shipped. Ordered Sat. evening, processed Monday morning and was shooting them Tues. by noon. Jim NE May 11, 2012, 05:45 PM S&B 9mm used to be on sale regularly at Cabela's for $9.99/box. Now it's always $14. I've bought Tula 9mm for between 8 and 9 bucks, even at walmart, but have never used it, so I can't vouch for it. Plastic looking casings. Most Cabela's sale stuff is now usually $10.99 or something. Until recently, USA ammo used to sell 11 dollar 38 spec. ammo (about $13 w/shipping) but those days seem to be gone. Anything much under $15 for a box of 50 doesn't seem to exist anymore, reloads or not. Hope I'm wrong. col_temp May 12, 2012, 03:45 AM Palmeto Armory has just about everyone else on this list so far beat. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ammunition/handgun-ammunition/9mm-luger.html Both the Magtech 115 FMJ and Blazer Alum case ammo. NOTE free shipping through Monday as well! col_temp May 12, 2012, 03:49 AM Jim, Most of us will stay away from the Russian Ammo. (Anything with Bear or Tula in it) Reasons, generally is pretty dirty. Works fine most of the time. But expect to be cleaning your guns more. Also, lots of that stuff has steel in the bullets so be careful, Most ranges do not allow steel bullets and or cases. PabloJ May 12, 2012, 11:14 AM The 9x19 is great. Even local Gander Mountain has Speer 'Lawman' 124gr loads for $12.99/50 which is good if someone is shopping for couple of boxes. jrdolall May 12, 2012, 01:35 PM I spent some time this morning searching several of the sites listed above looking for the CHEAPEST DELIVERED price on FMJ 9mm ammo. I limited the search to 500 rounds so some sites may have a box of 2000 for less per round. My theory here is that people who shoot more than 2000 rounds in a year probably need to be reloading. If you only need 2-3 boxes then this could change as some sites have better prices on 10 boxes or more. `Several of these sites were 2-3 bucks higher per 50 round box so I did not include them. Some were cheaper per box but higher on shipping. Most all of them are for Blazer or Tula. I have not personally had any problems with either of these rounds and have fired quite a few of them through multiple guns. I am sure there is a site with something cheaper but I looked at perhaps 12 today and this is based on their inventory today as well as their quoted shipping TODAY. A couple required me to set up an account before they would show me a complete price so I did not include their total price. These prices are delivered to MY ZIP CODE so yours could be different. Freedom Munitions- $94.49 for 500 rounds. These are reloads and can be purchased in boxes of 50 for the same price per round. Palmetto State - $99.90 total for 500 rounds. $9.99 per box with no shipping charges. Natchez Shooting Supplies- $106.76 for 500 rounds. This is the first time I have looked at this site. Cheaper Than Dirt- $109.29 for 500 rounds. I have had good luck with very fast shipping from CTD as long as you are aware that they ship from multiple warehouses. Midway was Out of Stock on all of their low price 9mm. Widener's had $9.50 per 50 but would not let me see a complete cart so unless they have free shipping they will be higher than Palmetto on the same item. Sportsman's Guide was $10.80 per box of 50 which puts them at $108 before shipping. A couple of the others were not even in the ballpark. Several sites have an opening page informing you that they are behind in shipping by 7-10 days because of high demand. I think they could hire an extra guy and get caught up but I was a successful business owner so why listen to me. I personally try to buy at least some of my ammo locally just so the guys at the LGS know I am a buyer and not a looker. I will pick up a couple of boxes of 9mm when they are on sale even though they have to be at $9 per box to meet the above prices and that does not happen often. I paid $40 for a box of 32-20 this week just because I didn't need to place an on-line order anytime soon and my LGS had one box. I aquired he gun last week and probably will not shoot it much anyway. wnycollector May 12, 2012, 03:08 PM I just got back from the range with my new shipment of .380, .40 and .45 colt from freedom arms. The ammo was of excellent quality, especially the .380 which was in nickel plated speer cases! jrdolall May 12, 2012, 03:41 PM I just placed an order with Freedom for 250 rounds of their 9mm training ammo as well as a couple of boxes of the .38 spl. It is even less expensive but may not be as cosmetically attractive. I will update after I shoot a few rounds. jrdolall May 25, 2012, 11:01 AM We shot up a bunch of the 38 special from Freedom this week in a S&W 642. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the ammo for practice purposes and the gun was not overly dirty after 100 or so rounds. Ditto for the 9mm. Different cases on the ammo but it was functional for my purpose.
