hey, not quite sure where to post my question so if somebody could help out, it would be much appreciated...an LEO in my town has a holster for his smith and wesson 1911 with surefire light. it has the swivel hood retention like the safariland but he said its something like goko, or maybe goco. not sure...can somebody help me out? correct spelling, possible a link. please and thank you!

Check and see if it might be a Galco holster.

Hey...thanks but it is not galco. I checked, no holsters with the thumb hood retention. Thanks though! :-)

Safariland makes one, for their brand of light. Maybe it will do the job.

Aker makes such a holster but with a thumb break. I have one for my G22, but I'm not sure what other models they offer.
