I just bought this WSR-10, shoots great and everything. I bought a surplus stock set with a wood foregrip. It has this weird symbol carved into the stock and somebodys name. I was wondering if anybody knew what these symbols meant?

Hard to tell, use your google-foo and try to find trench art that matches yours, maybe someone else has the same. A lot of cool examples out there.

The first one looks unsettlingly like a Nazi SS stamp...
The second just looks like someone got bored and did a little messing around with a knife.
A lot of used Romanian stocks have "trench art" on them.

Tip- see the "direct link" thing on the side of the photobucket page, in the little box? Click that URL, then paste the URL inside -URL here- .

That's what I first thought it looks just like the nazi ss symbol. But why would someone carve that into a stock. The carved name looks the same as other trench art

I've seen another Romanian stock with a swastika carved into it. Maybe Nazi sympathizers?
