Thanks for the link. Kinda pricey, but I like the cargos and the jeans. :D
BTW, those guys in the pix need to learn to keep their fingers off the trigger.

Has anyone but me ever tried to draw a firearm from the front pocket while sitting? Has anyone ever accomplished this task?
Appendix carry in a tuckable holster. Seriously.

Watched the vid. He was demonstrating with a P11, what I carry. I carry in Wrangler Cargos. The large front pocket and cut of the opening are not conventional jean cut, makes it very fast and easy to draw the gun vs that video and Wrangler cargos are 19 bucks at Walmart. I'd submit they're faster than those "break away" pockets as they don't require a forward motion to unsnap.
Hmm....well, for them that don't believe me. 90 bucks will get you THOSE pants. I think I'll stick with Wrangler Cargos as my fave. The carpenter's jeans can have the draw problems shown in that vid depending on brand. Wranglers avoid this, though, with the more vertical cut of the pocket opening. I much prefer them. They even allow much easier access to the gun while seated.
I cannot carry IWB comfortably. I've spent a small fortune on leather trying. Appendix carry? GET REAL. My gut won't allow it. I'm sixty years old so bite me if you think I can "get in shape" with my arthritic joints. The only other way I can comfortably carry is OWB (not a open carry state) or fanny pack. I prefer fanny pack if in the car a lot and mine allows me to carry a full sized auto or 3" K frame.

Here's one I kinda like, pocket openings cut like the Wranglers, maybe even a little more vertical. They're more affordable, too, and they include pockets for mags and such.

Most of the jeans I see at department stores are "regular" or loose" fit. I can fit a j frame into regular fit, but if I put my model 37 w/blackhawk pocket holster in the front pocket of loose fit jeans, I forget it's there in a few minutes. With the right guns, clothes specifically designed for ccw may not be necessary.
And today I've been carrying around a P11 w/extra mag in a small fanny pack, and that's been almost as unobtrusive as a 37 in loose fit jeans.

Glad he used an unloaded. I thought he was going to become a woman doing the seated draw. Making the wearer forcibly push down on the hand to pop the buttons open seems to make a person twist their gun grip possibly making them pull the trigger when transitioning to a draw after. Never put mine in my pocket so no personal experience though.

While I never put my finger on the trigger until I bring the gun up to firing position, the Kel Tec P11 has a very long DA trigger. I love mine for pocket carry. It is a very safe pocket pistol and tolerant of morons to a degree. :D

My "CCW" pants are either jeans (most of the time) or Dockers type pants. I rarely wear shorts, but if I do they're capable of being worn with a belt so I don't have to go without my firearm - if I'm wearing swim trunks, I'm unarmed (until I get another Glock or maybe a stainless J frame S&W)
