Utg is a cheap scope...it will work but for who knows how long...im a college student working part time and id rather spend 150 more on a quality scope with a lifetime warranty...if u need a cheapy i would go BSA...for the money they are ok

UTG is Leapers.
Red and green illumination, rings included, for $100. It does not sound promising.

I had good luck with mine for the year it was on my .22, and my friend runs one on an AK. He has several thousands of rounds through it with no issues. Alas, I can't speak for years and years and years of longevity, so I would spend a little extra for something a little nicer. Even a Bushnell. They're still pretty cheap, and I know they've got some serious quality to them.

On of my first AR scopes was a UTG/Leapers. Cheap price but also cheap quality. You get what you pay for. It did not hold zero and some of the pieces eventually fell apart, even with light use.
If you are on a tight budget, its ok if this is for plinking only. I would suggest looking for better options like Bushnell or Primary Arms. Check out Opticsplanet.com and Amazon. You can get better optics for well under $100

I've had good results with UTG's FIXED power scopes. All of the UTG/Leapers branded stuff is made in China.
Read every review on THAT scope you can find before making a purchase.

I've got a 5th Gen UTG 4-16x50 on my .243 Savage, with good results. Could use better rings, that's for sure.
