I saw some AR15's at the HK LEO booth. They use a gas piston design and not a direct gas system. This is good news for us in cold and sandy enviorments. The magazines on these rifles were also very nice. They were steel with chrome followers. I believe the mags are available now to law enforcement. I also got to play with a Sig GSR but thats another topic. The XM8 was ok but I would prefer to be able to mount my own optics rather than be stuck with the stock unit. The HK AR also did not have dust covers.
