How much would a 100-round brick cost?

do you mean component bullets?

there are way too many variables to begin to answer this. go to www.cabelas.com and navigate to what you need.

I just want the cheapest ammo I can get but still reload.

You can get 1000 pulled .308 bullets from http://hi-techammo.com/ for $55, or 5.5c/round.
Figure about 45 grains of some powder at $15/lb for about 9c/round. You can cut this in half by buying milsurp powders for $8/lb.
Primers are about 1.55c/each.
Assume cases are $40/1000 (again from Hi-Tech Ammo) and you can load them five times. That's about 0.9c/round.

So we've got 5.5 + 9 + 1.6 + 0.9 = 17c/round or about $170 per 1000.

Zack above left out shipping for the bulets, so the reloading cost is somewhat higher.

Check out www.jgsales.com. Non-corrosive, boxer-primed, brass case .308 Win for $100/1000 (less for larger shipments), plus HAZMAT and shipping. I don't know bullet weights or type, or who the mfg was...has to be mil surplus, but it's cheaper (and a lot less effort!) than reloading.

Try WalMart. Buy 5 boxes of whatever's cheap. A gun show may be an idea too.
