I've been scouring the auction sites for a transitional model CZ 75 since buying my rounded trigger guard/spur hammer CZ 75 a few weeks ago. Just snatched one up this morning! It's on it's way to my FFL and I imagine I'll be picking it up on Tuesday.
Here's some pictures (from the auction site)

Just to clarify why I'm excited about this clearly 'beat to heck' used pistol, this CZ 75 is a police trade in made in 1992. This weapon Pre-dates the CZ 75B that is currently in production. It is what is known in CZ circles as a "transitional" model as it shares some traits with the modern CZ75B, such as the 'combat' style trigger guard and the commander style ring hammer. But it also shares traits with the more traditional CZ 75 Pre-B model such as the lack of a firing pin block/safety.

Looks like a good gun to add to the family. I have never had a pre-b model, might need to look into that......

Nice buy! Congratualtions! I actually purchased myself a brand new CZ75B just yesterday for $499 from my LGS. Beautiful gun. I owned one about 2 years ago but had to sell it for financial reasons. I enjoyed the gun so much that I NEEDED it back. I saw it in the LGS and decided that it had to come back to papa.:D

Be careful BP Hunter, It has been my experience that they multiply like rabbits.

Congrats to both of us right?

They do multiply like rabbits! My CZ rifle collection has produced 4 new ones in in the same number of months....:what:

Trying to keep the pistols separated right now.......don't know if I can feed that many new mouths......

Congrats on your new pistol. One can never have too many cZs, although I keep trying.
