Does anyone have a suggestions for a bow fishing rig that I could also use for target shooting, looking for under $400? Any suggestions, thoughts, or ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

Any bow can be a bow fishing rig.

But any bow fishing rig cannot be a target bow.

I'd pick a bow you like and have it tuned to you by an archery shop.

Then buy the reel & fishing arrows and put them on the bow when you want to go fishing.

Like rcmodel says, nearly any bow will work. I use an old Sky Archery 3pc recurve with a metal riser and AMS Pro retriever. The recurve cost $75 and the AMS $65 new. It has worked very well and stows in my boat nicely.
