I just wanted to share some info on a source of great parkerizing tanks. On a different forum a gentleman shared this info with us. He sells his tanks on ebay but we found a way to contact him directly via email. His name is Jim, email: neverest.slmp@gmail.com

Here's links for his ads:

Those are really nice. I had one made for Park'ing rifles at a local metal fabricating shop for less than $50. I bought what I THOUGHT was a stainless steel decanter at a local dollar store. After running countless batches of Park'ing solution through it, I grabbed a magnet to fish out a small screw I dropped. The magnet stuck to the side of the decanter.... So much for not being able to use carbon steel tanks for Park'ing gun parts!

Whelen,
Just FYI 400 series stainless is magnetic, some varieties more than others though not near what regular steel is.
