Since around 1989 or so I have seen many of the Intratec TEC-DC9's and to be perfectly honest all I would have thought they would be of any use for is a paper weight or door block. Two years ago I took one in trade around 10:00 am and had it sold for just over $400.00 before 12:00. Never fired it and didn't worry about it at all. A few days ago I ran across another one, with the fake supressor, two 32rd mags and decent leather strap. Put it aside and just thought sooner or later it would be traded or sold. Today while testing a different pistol I took it along with about 15rds. Hate to admit it but it actually hit where I was pointing, I did have one rd that failed to feed properly but nothing that was serious. Heck I might have to hang on to it and let the grandson waste a bunch of shells.

The first full auto I ever shot was a TEC-9, we shot 300 rounds through it with only one FTE that day. At 25yds we were hitting pop cans, with the first shot anyway, I remember it was more accurate than my buddy's 1911. It was a blast, brass rainbows.

They mainly have a bad rep because of all the smear campaigns ran against them by the media and the Brady bunch.

They were designed by George Kellgren, owner of Kel Tec. The design is solid although wasn't really made for accuracy since the gun was originally designed to be an automatic SMG.

They are fun guns, wish they were still made today.

The MPA guns are not for me. I'd rather save up and buy a TP9 if I was going for one that loads into the grip. I want one that loads in front of the handgrip. Why? Simply because they look cool.
