This is the old exposed hammer pump knock off of the Win 1897. The takedown model. Can not get the forend stop lever back in place. Help.

Be sure you get the tricky WIDOWMAKER :uhoh: back right. BTW Marlin does NOT reccomend you shoot them :scrutiny:

Yea. Noticed this fore end stop needs to be assembled properly. Working the action w/o it either: 1. pulls out the action arm locking the bolt or, 2. trying not to pull out the action arm, DOES NOT lock the bolt. Again, How do you install this critical lever properly?
