Nothing wrong with lead bullets but I personally don't like Power Pistol with lead bullets. I feel that powder burns too hot for use with lead. I prefer W231 with lead bullets in the 9mm.

Power pistol is iffy, but I have found that if my loads are at 20kpsi or lower, no matter the cartridge I dont get much leading, or any at all(using the bullets I am, mainly Missouri Bullet softball, 357 action with PP).

I'm using HS-6 and a 147gr LFP from S&S casting in a CZ Sp-01 Phantom. pretty happy with it, too. :D

I have tested various burn rate powders from Bullseye to WSF with lead bullets and for target velocity loads (mid-to-high range load data), I have gotten better results with W231/HP-38 or faster powders in terms of accuracy and leading (with slower powders, I needed to push high-to-near max load data).
For 9mm, my current favorites are W231/HP-38/Promo/Red Dot at mid-to-high range lead load data based on current Hodgdon data (http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp), 2004 Alliant data (glarp.atk.com/2004/2004Catalogs/2004AlliantPowderSM.pdf) and 1999 Winchester data (http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=159609&stc=1&d=1329800605).
Even with mid-to-high range load data, I get accuracy and no leading with 18 BHN Missouri 9mm RN, CN and SWC bullets (my barrels are .355" and MBC bullets are sized .356").
JO JO, unless your barrel is oversized, .356" sized badman bullets at around 15 BHN should work well with above mentioned powders. I don't use Power Pistol for 9mm so can't help you there (it sits on my powder shelf waiting for a .357 Mag revolver I am looking for).

I'm loading with Power Pistol, used 115gr LRN from Space Coast Bullets, 5.2 grains with the OAL at 1.095", (I would've loaded longer but that's one of my guns, a PF9, needs). So far no problems, I recently ordered a chronograph so at some point I'll find out how fast they are. I AM new at reloading, don't see any real problems with leading, all the rounds went 'bang' and the guns still work.
