I just came from my LGS where I was looking at some ARs for plinking. One item that caught my eye is a used Bushmaster XM15-F2s.
This particular rifle has a full buttstock, carry handle and a fluted barrel that appears to be 24". I can't seem to find much info on the Internet about the Bushmaster's F2S variant -- everything seems to reference the E2S.
Was/is the F2S a cataloged item in this configuration? I can't find any F2S-specific info on the Bushmaster web site...
If anyone can shed any light on the Bushmaster XM15-F2S, I'd really appreciate it!
