I finally got a new computer so I can upload pictures now. I've had the 1858 for about a month now and have been gradually getting the accessories. I just received my rig yesterday.

Thanks y'all.

He goes buy IDAHOMIKE on thefiringline. I wrote a review of it there.
I will save y'all the trouble of going there, here is my review.
Pro's
I am happy with his work and great customer service. The holster fits my 1858 perfect and the belt fit my waist perfect. I told him that I wanted it in a dark brown color and he hit that color perfect. I am very happy with the color. The delivery time was very fast ( 2 weeks ) and the price was a steal with shipping included in his price.
Con's
The first one is minor to me for this type of rig. If you are picky the finish is not as refined as others that I have.
The second is the belt is a little flimsy, single layer. I would like to have a thicker and stiffer belt and pay more for it. If the belt was thicker it would be a $300 dollar rig.
Thanks Mike

Just one question, does he track the front sight against wear or does it track on the leather?

It does'nt have a sight track. I had'nt noticed that until you asked. I don't think most of the slim jim style holster have a sight track, though it would be a good feature to improve a old style holster.

Mike made this for me and I've since added a matching cross draw holster to it,
and a great looking patchbox. He does really nice work and prices aren't bad either.

Nice looking rig and I like those grips.
You would have to look hard to beat his prices.
