I have a 458 Winchester Magnum Ruger #1 that I bought from a friend several years ago. The thing is a monster on recoil, but sure can shoot. This is a 50 yard group using a 3x Weaver scope.

Nice, I have one in 458 Lott that is equally accurate. I've found the 500 grain bullets to be the best.

I pulled this one off several years ago with one of my 416 Rigby's.



Sometimes thumper drivers have a good day at the range.

You guys have me excited to pick up my new #1 tomorrow. Mine is a 7x57 so not a thumper. But it's the original "safari light" chambering. HaHa.
