decent air rifle scope

I have come to the conclusion that my old eyes need help when it comes to hitting tree rats, even at close distances; way too many close hits or wounding with what should be DRT shots.
Air rifle in question is the RWS 34; not looking for Olympic shooting quality, but it does need to handle the two-way recoil of a springer
Any thoughts much appreciated

I bought a Bushnell 3-9x AO air-rifle scope for just under $100 a few years ago, after going through three BSA air-rifle scopes in two weeks.
I'm not sure they still make it, but it's been real good.
Of course you can't beat a Leupold if you have $400 to spare.

Never used one myself, but have heard good things about the Hawke. Model is called the Air Max or something like that.
