What should I expect to pay for a used Great Plains .50 caliber Flintlock rifle in say fair to good condition? I have a Pedersoli in .36 caliber which is a neat little squirrel gun, but would prefer a .50 or even .54 for mule deer out here, or whitetail in UP Michigan.

For an older Great Plains flintlock in fair to good condition, I'd guess that it would cost around $250 - $275 more or less.

Thanks folks that was what I was thinking, I've got a couple of percussion rifles in .45, 50, and 54 caliber, but like I said I've only got that flintlock in .36 $300.00 shouldn't be too bad.

I sold one for $200 last year that I had traded a longbow for. They turn up from $200 to more than that depending on what they are and how crazy the seller is. If you're just looking for the general T/C or Lyman, $250 - $300 is doable.
