Took my new Browning Maxus to the trap field today. Bear in mind, I haven't fired a shotgun in almost 2 years, and haven't shot trap since 2005 at the latest.

Got 21 in my first round with it (and yes, I did break the first target with the gun, first shot out of the box). Gun handles like a dream, with half the recoil of my soon to be former Benelli.

I'm a happy camper right about now. Just gotta get a new MEC to replace the Lee that hasn't worked right since the day I bought it. Live and learn, I guess.

If you look on your local Craigs List and similar places, you should be able to find used MEC Jr.s for about $75

Skip the MEC Jr and find a MEC 650 or a Grabber...you will be much happier. Of course getting a few buddies together and buying a Dillon SL 900 would be even nicer...
