OARNGESI May 24, 2012, 12:40 AM what coin 2zulu1 May 24, 2012, 12:48 AM I expect he is referring to the NRA challenge coin. :) smalls May 24, 2012, 12:52 AM Would you like to expand a little? Some of us may not be "in the know", including I. zxcvbob May 24, 2012, 01:00 AM I am a NRA member, but I'm donating money to SAF and to Ron Paul's election campaign, and getting involved in local and state politics -- ultimately to elect pro-2A senators and representatives. And I've signed up to be an election judge. NRA can keep their coin, I think I'm "all in" already. Would you like to expand a little? Some of us may not be "in the know", including I. Donate money to the NRA to help defeat Obama this November, and Wayne LaPierre will send you a medallion: http://www.nrapublications.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Screen-shot-2012-05-14-at-4.34.jpg YankeeFlyr May 24, 2012, 01:04 AM God, I'm glad I'm not a single-issue voter.:scrutiny: smalls May 24, 2012, 01:05 AM How much do I have to donate? I don't even care about the coin. I can't vote, so I like to help as much as I can. zxcvbob May 24, 2012, 01:07 AM I have about 3 or 4 issues. Most of them relate to civil rights and a sound currency. 2A is civil rights. IBTL 2zulu1 May 24, 2012, 01:36 AM 2A is a Constitutional right that may be in serious jeopardy by proponents supporting United Nations policies that would outlaw civilian handgun and semi automatic firearms ownership in general. This website is a great example of what thousands of members can accomplish by sharing personal firearms knowledge and experiences with other free citizens who share in the lawful use of firearms. RhinoDefense May 24, 2012, 01:45 AM I think the coin idea is stupid. What's the point? Snowdog May 24, 2012, 01:57 AM Awesome! A coin... awesome.... M2 Carbine May 24, 2012, 04:52 AM I think the coin idea is stupid. What's the point? I agree but the coin might be a valuable collector's piece for your grand kids when they show it to their friends and talk about "how grandfather use to actually be able to own guns years ago. If course that was back when the government was the servant of the people, instead of the other way around". evan price May 24, 2012, 05:22 AM meh...another trinket. In 75 years they will appear on whatever the current version of "pawn stars" is on the entertainment projector and someone will think they must be worth a gazillion megabuck credits, and the pawn shop guys will tell them they were a freebie from the NRA and contraband punishable by ten years' hard labor on the Jovian salt mines. pockets May 24, 2012, 06:44 AM Yet another NRA challenge coin.....whoopee. In a few days they will appear on eBay, along with the rest of the NRA coins. . buck460XVR May 24, 2012, 07:07 AM Yet another NRA challenge coin.....whoopee. In a few days they will appear on eBay, along with the rest of the NRA coins. . Probably made in China....... like most of their promotional stuff. Walkalong May 24, 2012, 07:17 AM While I hope we are all working for gun rights/freedom at the local and national levels, GGD's isn't the place to debate it.
