Hello, I'm having an issue with my lyman dps 3 ever since I got it. The problem I'm having is it despenses powder too quickly and with over throw a charge almost every time. I went on their website and they mention using a restrictor plug if this happens. My unit didn't ship with a restrictor plug. Any one know what this is or how I can make/get one. I've contacted lyman via email but have gotten no response as of yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the "restrictor plug" like a capacitor? How does it throw it "too quickly"?

Lots of companies don't answer email very quickly.

I finally broke down and called em. After being on hold for 10 mins the lady I spoke with said she would put a new one in the mail today. A restrictor plug is like a screw with a hole in it that slows down the amount of powder coming out
