Anyone have any insight on this one?

I've been on a "snubbie" kick lately and just keep finding some nice vintage gems. I saw this little bugger in the back case of a gun shop today and couldn't help but buy it. I am not exaggerating when I say she could pass for new. One look down the barrel tells me that it was never fired.

The barrel has Charter Arms Stratford Conn.
Serial is 632xxx

Anyone know how old this is? Anybody have one like it? Thanks.

I can't say how old it is but, that is one of the good ones from years back. My sister in law has one. She has had it for more than 30 years. I wouldn't give it a steady diet of +P but, you could sight a few in and carry +P.

Those old Charter Arms guns are very nice. Good find!

Thanks, it seems solid. This is the second square butt I've picked up in the last two weeks.

I found this one last Friday. It was manufactured the same year I was born, so I had to buy it :)

Not sure how old yours is; but I have a 5 digit serial numbered, 3 inch barreled, .44 Special "Bulldog" that I bought new in 1979.
I will never sell it.
