Most hardware stores sell 2 or 4 ft. pieces of brass rod and I use brass stock to make punches out of. You should be able to find one close to your bore size. Take an empty case to the store and buy one that will just slip into the case. Cut it down to a usable length. I have never actually seen anyone get a squib in the bore of a .22. But Murphy does run the universe. It would be handy to punch out a stuck case.

My father in law has an old winchester bolt action single shot with what he says is a bullet in the bore. It is certainly blocked.

Got a 3/16 brass rod... Bore is bulged, multiple shots stuck over a 6 inch section of barrel. It's toast. Thanks for.the help though.

Well if you are going to ruin a firearm might as well do it the best way possible.:banghead::D
