Voted .260 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag, and 300WSM. I see .30-06 is popular, but I doubt it can match the long-range capabilities of some of the other cartridges. For a rifle that looks intended for long-range use, that might be a problem.

For the MRAD, one of the 6.5s sounds good, but with that new 300 Norma machine gun out it may be a better option.

I voted, but as an aside, it's hard to read your price list and determine pricing of the MRAD with a .308 barrel/bcg.

I voted for 260. 06 seems to have a high demand though I am not sure why. Don't get me wrong, the 06 is a great round but I am not sure it would make a much sense in a rifle like this.

I've always wanted to get some Barretts. Only thing is, they're waaaaaay out of any of my price ranges.

For a rifle that starts at about 14 pounds stripped, and is designed in size for the 338 LM, I would think that the demand for other-than 338 LM would be primarly for cartridges not too far from the same class.

I will always appreciate this from Barrett's price list:

I fully realize that "rare" and "unique" cartridges are major draws for high end platforms like this. Part of the allure is paying to play...

But from a practicality stand point, 7mm Rem Mag is one of the more common and available centerfire rifle cartridges in North America. It is second in it's class only to 30-06 in popularity. It also has a history of use in long range competitions.

There was no .22LR option!

You've covered all of the practical applications with the .308 Win, .300 WM and .338 LM so I voted for the paper punchers i.e. .260 Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor.

I voted 06, creedmoor, and 7mm rm. All I ask is please use an appropriate chamber in the 06. PTG's 06 Serengeti chamber comes to mind.

But as usual, all I really want is a left bolt option.

Thanks for your feedback so far. It is truly valued. Keep in mind the options aren't limited to that list - we will certainly continue to explore all possibilities.

6.5 Creedmoor, .260 Rem., 7mm WSM (I prefer 7mm SAUM).

7mm RM and .260 are musts. 7RM gives you near-300WM performance with less recoil, .260 is very popular among long-range shooters and reloaders. I'd also consider the 7mm WSM and .338 Norma from a marketing perspective, as those cartidges are popular in rifles of that class.

I had no idea Barrett was holding California's agencies to the same standard as their citizens.

That may very well sway my next purchase, that HAS to be supported

why not a 6.5x284 ? thats one heck of a 1000yd match caliber

I chose one of mine to be 30-06. Costs much less to shoot then other cartridges, for practice.
