I have never even heard of Remington Game Load powder, or seen any data for it in 12 ga.
In fact, I was not aware Remington even ever sold powder.

However if it was intended for 12 ga loading, it most likely will simply not work in .410.

hi i dont know if you can buy the remington powder on the streets or not, this bottle i got came from a friend who works in the powder industry (i dont want to say much more because i dont want him getting in trouble) anyway i had heard of people using a smaller quantity of the 12 ga powder in the 410 BUT i never got to see it or get any specks from them...

thanks for your time...

without data, it's useless..

fertilize the garden with it..

just FYI, 300-MP from Alliant makes a soft-recoiling .410 load..

It depends on the burning speed of the powder. Alliant 2400 is an excellent choice for the .410 and years back there used to be plenty of published data for 12 ga. magnums using 2400, but none is to be found today because there are more suitable powders readily available to the handloader for 12 ga. magnum loads. You need a slow burning powder for the .410 bore and you definitely don't want to play the guessing game here. If you can't get data from the friend whom gave you the powder it should be disposed of properly or put in a collection if it's in an manufacturers container.

I use 15 grains of W296 under 11/16 oz of shot in 3'' win HS hulls with the red wad and a 209 primer.
The .410 is an entity unto itself when it comes to powder dont play with it. If there is no data for a powder there is a good reason for it. Mystery powder is best used for the garden.
The good news is it is a very economical shell to load for and a pound goes a long way the biggest cost is the shot.

I'd skip the tomato's and put it on the yard.

Too much nitrogen on the tomato's makes all plant growth and no tomato's.

You need to buy a reloading manual for shotgun. Powder and loads are very specific based on the componets used. I am not aware of any powder that will work well in 12 ga and 410.

+1 on get a manual. But my preference for 12ga is 700X.

IF it was a powder maker's blend, there will be no data for it available to anyone as the blends are made to certain performance specs and vary from lot to lot.

Lots of good powders for the 410. Go to Alliant and Hodgdon web sites for data

Not quite to the extent it was decades ago - many things are subbed one for the other
