Quick question: what's the best oil I can get for general maintenance? I'm hoping for an oil that will protect the blade AND lube the springs, hinges, etc., in an assisted opener. I'm thinking of my Gerber F.A.S.T. 06.

I've been extremely pleased with White Lightning lubricant for knives. I can't comment on its performance as a corrosion protectant.

I've used Rem-Oil for a long time now, never had a problem.
