W9 ..... most call this HP-22 a POS .... well it ain't high-qual I admit but .. there was a time when ''needs must'' in hottest of summer days ... I did carry it in pocket ... albeit with the std 3" barrel.
These days it is just (as it should be really) a mere plinker, and so I keep it set up with the longer barrel ... in that format ... not a bad lil gun at all.
Now having gotten a P3AT ... that is the smallest cal I will entertain for carry from now on.

My favorite is the Walther TPH... close second is the Beretta 21A.

Freedom Arms 22 LR. No safety notches in cylinder4 rnds only. Taking real good photos is an art and I'm no artist. Sometimes I get lucky but not this time. Interesting shot though.

Here's the only .22 pocket gun I own: A Cobray Pocket Pal .22/.380 revolver. It fires .22 from the bottom barrel and .380 from the top barrel.

P95Carry, I got an HP-22 identical to yours! Works perfect with most of the valuepack ammo. Pretty accurate, but the trigger is creepy, but not that heavy. Still stinks though. The mags are slow loading even with a .22 magloader on my thumb.
I'm looking at getting some small pocket guns in .22lr like those strange little Italian single actions. Anyone know if they make or even made a single action version of the Beretta 21 in .22lr?

That's a Wilkinson Sherry. Also known as the FTL Auto Nine, Auto Nine Corporation Auto Nine, and the "Pocket Partner" although I'm not entirely sure that was ever on any of the pistols. Designed and manufactured by a friend of my Father. This is the second-to-last version.
Earlier pistols were made with a similar frame however they were striker fired with a slide that resembled the Baby Browning. These had a nasty habit of blowing extractors and the extractor system was flimsey in design. The frist of the 'blocky' slide guns introduced an enclosed frame-mounted hammer and top-extractor. This top extractor was also fragile and resulted in my only Unintentional Discharge ever. My version introduced a side extractor at about the 1-2 o'clock position. The final version introduced a larger screw threaded into the breech block and a stronger firing pin. That's the history of the gun in a nutshel.
You don't find them on the market often although they made many. I like to believe that people keep them because, like me, they like them. The owner of this gun had the unfortunate experience of breaking the firing pin and pawned it. I bought it without realizing it had a broken firing pin. I tried to hide my embarrassment at the range when my well-planned multi-load outing turned into a multi-load click-fest. :banghead: Oh well, all better now. The Wilkinson company is owned now by a Limited Liability corporation and still sells parts.

Hey Badger, I have one of those Auto-Nine's. It was really cool at first, but as you say started blowing off the extractor. Do you happen to know if they found a way to fix them to where they will not? I've sent that thing back so many times and am lucky if I manage to get a full mag out of it before it breaks again. Is there hope for this thing?

No, the only fix is to keep a few extractors handy. I've heard the same thing about the first-model auto nines.
