Hello Walnuts! :D

Why didn't I do this sooner? They feel so much better and look so much cooler.

Very nice, if you ever get a chance try a pair from Esmerelda, she makes very nice grips for 1911's and BHP's.

Nice walnut. They look right at home on a traditional 1911.
Me like!

I have rubber grips on all my berettas, and I had them on all1911s I previously owned. Wooden grips look better - but at the range the rubber grips always work better for me

I had rubber grips on a lot of my guns, even .32 acps. Now I've replaced them with wood grips.

Maybe it has something to do with getting old. :D

Or with being old enough to have money...

Ditto, all my range favorites have rubber grips when possible, some guns don't have interchangeable grips.

On a 1911 I really like the Pachmayr Rosewood and rubber combo grips best of both worlds :)

I love how they look, I just kind of ran out of the desire for pretty guns. I use Hogue wrap-arounds. But I suppose one day I might make a project gun and get some blanks to make my own grips with. We'll see.

Nice grips! I have always liked the Double Diamond pattern grips on my M1911s. They just look so classy yet in a very understated way.

Incidentally, my AR is the only gun I own that doesn't have walnut grips...

I've seen ARs with wooden furniture before.
Maybe I ought to look into it.
