Forming 7mm-08 from .308 Win.
Doesn't look any more involved than when I formed .30/30 from .32 if I recall.
Anything I should be aware of, or is this pretty much as straightforward as it looks ?
I did have a lot of first fire neck splits the last time I formed... anything I can do to prevent that ?

If the brass has been fired aneal it before you form it.

I form all of my 260 from 308 and I've learned 2 "tricks" - a quick anneal works wonders. Also, I use a small base die 308 die on the initial forming, as I think it provides me with better consistency from which to start the necking/forming process

I just made 10 7mm08 by sizing with a lee full length sizer. While I do anneal, I didn't when I made these and there really wasn't much force involved at all. POI. Was identical to store ought 7mm08 by the same manufacturer (Winchester). a nonevent.
