H&R .223 break action suppressed

I went out yesterday and did a test run on a suppressor I'm looking to buy. It worked great considering i forgot to bring the subsonic ammo. I've tested it once before with the subsonic ammo and practically all you can hear is the hammer. I've wanted to get one for my H&R handy rifle for about a year now. The thing is a tack driver at 200 yards and is my dedicated varmint gun. i want to be able to pick off a groundhog without alerting his friends. It's also the only break action rifle with a suppressor that I've ever seen. I think it's cool but I'm a bit strange some times.

My buddy Byron put one on a T/C. It was apparently stolen by the Waynesboro police who picked up his weapons after his truck rolled in late Nov, '06. :scrutiny:

Groundhogs at 200 should be a good challenge with subsonic ammo on windy days.

Let me show you one more then. H&R 357 Magnum. Ridiculously quiet with 158 grain 38s or 230 grain 357's.

I use a H&R to demo 5.56 cans people are amazed at the difference between that and a AR, but everybody wants a can for their AR.

I am thinking of getting a .44 MAG H&R to shoot 44 SPL and sub sonic 44 MAG.

I get some weird looks when I pull out a 250.00 dollar gun and screw on a 1,000 dollar can.

The middle barrel is 44 MAG, for that reason. 20 GA on top

Did you get the additional barrels through the H&R program where you send them your receiver?
