I just received the teaser picture and shipping notification for my latest matching set of Gene Ingram knives. I went with the 4# Bird & Trout on this set. This is the 3rd matching set I have had Gene do, Im still debating my knife choice for set number 4.

Is the #1 Buckeye burl?. BTW those are wonderful blades, kudos to you and the maker . Useful shapes and sizes, flawless execution and I like those mosaic pins!

The #1's are Northwest Spalted maple burl.
