At a garage sale. I could tell that it had been mounted due to some very light wear from the rings but other than that it looks brand new. The lady having the sale wanted $10 but I got it for $8.

I have no idea of the story behind it as it came from an estate sale. As I undersatnd it these are low end scopes but for 8 bucks I thought it might be fun to play with. This one is a 3X12

Anybody have any experience with one of these?

They're low-end, and we all know what people say about BSA...

They're one of BSA's better scopes and the thinking behind it is good, but the tracking on the internals just isn't up to repeated changes on the elevation knob. More of a sales gimmick than useful feature, but sales are what they're after...

Great deal on that, they retail for a lot more.
