Have you checked out Mudcat Cafe (http://www.mudcat.org/)? You also might want to check out the Delta Blues Museum (http://www.deltabluesmuseum.org/) in Clarksdale. There's another blues museum in Greenwood; I met the proprietor there, and he's very into research like that. Sorry, don't have a web site for that one.

Ole Miss has theCenter for Southern Culture (http://www.olemiss.edu/depts/south/) at Oxford. I'd imagine if anyone knows anything about this, they would.

Finally, have you tried the Mississippi Dept of Archives and Hist (http://www.mdah.state.ms.us/)? They have a lot of good stuff.
