Does tarnished brass reduce reloading life (.303)?

This regards ammo in old machine gun belts. Maybe it does not really limit extraction in a bolt action?

I've not seen the ammo, and would only consider a different ammo which is as durable, reloadable as modern Prvi. .303, which is the only type of "British" brass that I've reloaded.

Tarnish, no; corrosion, yes. If it's turning green, it's time to clean.

I am betting that as well as tarnished it is Berdan primed and not worth the effort to reload. My 303's are hard on brass if not kept segregated and neck sized only. Keep that in mind when trying to full length size brass for the 303 and you are getting short case life and head separations.
