What a difference it makes weighing the Rainer 275Gr HP Bullets. Groups sizes were cut over half with the weighed bullets.http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/smiley_freak.gif
Hornady 300 FTX, 300 Gr Rainer, 275Gr Rainer Plated HP's with 37.7Grs LilGun. Took the 8 MM Mauser too. I just had it fitted with a timney trigger, what a difference that makes! Couldn't chrono today, sun wasn't cooperating......

275Gr Rainer HP 38.0 Gr LilGun Not Sorted by weight not so good.....Flyers everywhere. I think I will stick to the 300 Gr Rainer HP's from now on......

Loaded up about a hundred more Hornady 300 FTX, 300 Gr Rainer, 275Gr Rainer Plated HP's with 37.7Grs LilGun. I'll chrono them maybe tomorrow. There is a 5Gr fluctuation in the 275Gr Rainers for a 13.75% difference. High was 271.6Grs and a high was 276.5Grs. I weighed each bullet and loaded the ones that were around 274.5 to 275 Grs. The Hornady 300 FTX 300 are right on and so are most of the 300 Gr Rainer HP's. The 300 Gr Rainers fluctuate about a 1-1.5Grs. I love that little Franklin Electronic scale! I don't use my RCBS 10-10 Scale anymore!

I think the 275's are too light and not enough bearing surface for the Beo. I will stick to the 300 Gr bullets from now on. The 275's will shoot one hole out to about 50 yds and a little beyond but weighing each bullet is a PIA.http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/smiley_freak.gif
