A coworker of mine found this on a blog. She's a serious anti. And she wants to buy this AR-15. I think this falls into one of those categories where it has an attachment that is virtually useless and adds a whole lot of weight...and its unicorn themed. But, hey, whatever it takes to convert an anti ;)

Of course, they call it an "assault rifle" in the blog, but I'll forgive them that just this once.

Very strange, but if she's actually interested in purchasing it because of how it looks and it converts an anti than I'd say it's a great piece.

Eh, there are plenty of guns I think are ugly that others like. If it gets a younger girl involved in shooting, great.

To each his/her own.

My daughter and I built a lightweight AR carbine this past winter for her to shoot with. I made the mistake of putting my Trijicon TR-24G in a LaRue mount on it so she could see what it would be like with a scope on it.

Her answer, "Daddy, can't I just have this scope, I really like the green triangle"

Now I'm out a TR-24G rig. :) Oh well, but she shoots really well with it and I can get her to go the range with me more frequently now which is a huge plus.

If I saw a single shot .22 with a chainsaw, I'd call that an 'assult rifle'.:what:

I don't like the chainsaw, but that'd actually be a pretty cool rifle for a young girl (heck, even some older girls). Maybe a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle one for the boys?

RCArms, you know you're not really mad. Good on you.

Also, the Bootsie Collins remark was spot on.

I'd bring a rifle painted up like that out to the range and shoot it just because it looks so unique. Minus the silly chainsaw, I'd be proud to own it. I envision a whole lot of young girls eager to shoot it and getting a great introduction to the shooting sports.

Nah, that gun is too excessively decorated. Something like these grips would be neat, though.
