Manufacture Date of Colt 1911

I have an older Colt with U. S. Property markings on it. I was curious when it was made. The number on it is 48287 then a lighter mark 0. I have looked at some other sources, but can't find these numbers. If someone could help I would appreciate it.

Looks like mid-1917 manufacture. 217387-717386
