In the market for a RDS for 12-gauge, and I've been burned on a cheap one before. Looking at the TruGlo series, and I really like their multi-color/multi-reticle system, but I'm wondering if the quality is there.

In particular, is it going to break if I put it on my shotgun?
What's the battery life on the sights?

If I can get something for $150 or less that works well for my application (HD/SD) then I'll definitely be a happy camper. If not, I'll still be happy, but I'll be a broke happy camper.

I used one of their $99 models on a beretta storm carbine in 45acp for probably 300 rounds or so with no problems.
I have a crap $45 BSA red dot on my moss 500 and it has held up to about 40 rounds of slugs so far with no problems for what it's worth.
