just found him via Facebook. He had a "How to make a kitchen knife" vid.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUMPy60q6Hk

there sure are some intersting pieces in his gallery.
Prefers natural materials obviously.

... iīm actually thinking about having him make one,
if his prices donīt make me faint :-)

His link doesn't work for me, unfortunately, but that is a very useful and pleasing looking knife.

hm? Strange. Works for me.

Most knives in his Gallery look very useful. Nothing tacky.
Seems like he crosses scnadinavian style with russian/slavic styles.

some longer ones remind of "Boyar" knives ....

... canīt see why the link would not work in the US???

in addition to the first one. Many more interesting ones. But these show
his style IMO.

Oooh! 3rd in post 6, and 2nd in post 7 are fantastic!

As sacrilegious as it sounds, I'm not a huge pukko fan (sorry :o) but he does seem to do a nice job of that style as well.

Eastern European knife makers usually are a little less expensive to buy from than makers in Western Europe and the U.S.

No issue seeing the site here, and those are some gorgeous knives. I'm sure the price of his knives will make me faint, but I sent him an email anyway. I'll pass on the information when I hear.

This one is one of my favorites: http://trollsky.knives.pl/images/038.jpg

:-)

We europeans are different.
Thereīs no "contents may be hot" on our coffee cups either.

We just know.

Maybe so, but the EU's collection of warning pictograms for materials safety seem like trying to learn Mandarin Chinese to an American. :D

GHS will be interesting to apply, but we already have the DOT pictograms that people are using so it won't be too difficult.

Speaking of custom knife makers from Poland, another that some here-but not all-might be familiar with: Poltergeist. http://www.poltergeistworks.pl/models.html

Some excellent pics from the maker at BFs, here:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/861777-Poltergeist-Works-introduction

Somewhat different than the first fellow, but worth checking out the links, particularly the blade forum.
